Cool Christmas

I was in a groove of making Christmas cards a few weeks ago and I had made about three different ones before I realized they were ALL made with cool colours so I figured I might as well continue... Anyway, I've finally managed to get them up here and I'm putting them in for a few challenges.
The Christmas challenge with Heart 2 Heart.
The Just Us Girls Challenge this week is for embossing and two of these cards have that technique.
Over at Casual Fridays the challenge is to use knots (see ribbons below).
Hope you enjoy and thanks so much for checking them out! :)

Perfect seeing as I just made a birthday card for the best dad in the world! (mine of course). This is my first time entering this challenge. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it! :)

Craft Fair

I gave my first craft fair a try this past weekend here at Providence Farm. I shared a table with my mom selling her awesome home-made chemical free soaps. Check out her website here: http://www.kathyssimplysoap.com/J%26K_Homecrafts/Welcome.html. She kicked my craft fair butt! Lol. Her and her soaps are much more well known from their popularity and her doing the Saturday Market here in Duncan every weekend. My craft was my cards of course, and my brimmed toques. Apparently it wasn't as busy as it can be and I most certainly can't say I'm rich now, but it was a great learning experience and I had fun. Send me a message if you'd like some cards or a snazzy toque!

Birthday

This may be the holiday season but it's also the season for a lot of birthdays in my world. I often have more difficulty making cards for men but I decided to just have fun with this one. I cut the cute little dino using my Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge and then I doused him in liquid glass for extra shine and pizazz. The photos here don't quite do it justice but I hope you get the idea. Thanks for visiting!
